thinking of going with the 740mp premier. The 7400mp has the older design, and everything the 8400 has but 2v pre's.. the pre's. I wouldn't settle for 2v. Then I found the 740mp premier. All the features of the 8400 including mp3 support, 4v pre's the older design thats sure to fit.. and it can be bought for 271 shipped to my door. About 100 bucks cheaper then the 8400. I like the new design of hte 8400, but not sure i like it 100 bucks more. Especially when their or more performance mods in my future. If money wasn't an issue, i'd order the exact same one you got as it has a much nicer display and more sound tweaky thingies, but i think the one im looking at will keep me happy for awhile. (i also have a set of subs and an amp hooked up to my blose ghetto style that will sound much better hooked up to a real head unit i'm sure, and some other speakers laying around that i couldn't drive off the blose unit.) BTW, if people post about turbotimer instals and such, i think a nice head unit is surely post worthy. (should post a pic of it installed).
